‘Girls Trip‘ breakout star, Tiffany Haddish will make history on Saturday by becoming the first black female comedian to host Saturday Night Live.
Haddish will host SNL on Nov. 11, becoming the first black woman to do so in the comedy sketch’s history. Taylor Swift is scheduled to be a performer on the same night.
The comedian took to Instagram to celebrate the amazing news.
The following Saturday, on November 18, Chance the Rapper and Enimen are scheduled to host and perform, respectively.

I just want to point out that Maya Rudolph has hosted SNL and is very definitely a comedian. If you’re saying that Tiffany Haddish is the first black female stand-up comic, fine…but please give the talented Maya Rudolph her due as a comedian, host and former cast member of SNL.
