If you’re a fan of Trevor Noah, then you’ve probably heard mention of his mother through his infamous book, Born A Crime. If not through the novel then definitely on The Daily Show.

Noah will be producing a film adaptation of the book by the same name. Greatly so, Noah expresses that he is ecstatic to see Lupita Nyong’o take on the role. Due to not just her resemblance, but the fact that Lupita is also a strong woman. He revealed that she would be playing the role of his mother, Patrice, on Instagram.
