Director Ava DuVernay has teamed up with Charles D. King and Victoria Mahoney to develop a TV adaptation of Dawn, the 1987 sci-fi novel by Octavia E. Butler.
DuVernay and King will be the executive producers, while Mahoney will be writing the script. This will be the first time Butler's work will be adapted for TV.
