The singer and our favorite ‘BadGal’ has been everywhere this past while. Rihanna has got it all going on. With the launch of Fenty Beauty and the SS18 showing of Fenty x Puma, we learned that the Fall ’17 collection of the athleisure brand will be released on September 28th. Rihanna showcased the season at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year.
The AW17 collection was well received by the fashion media dubbing it ‘Fenty University.’ It was evidently aimed at college students of all identities with its clever logo use usually seen on a traditional college uniform (letterman jackets etc.). Of course, with Rihanna on-board, it was given the popular street style projection the designer has brought to Puma. We saw the updated version of the sell-out ‘creeper’ sneaker – the Cleated Creeper which is more boot-like in its structure. This was too seen in New York at the Spring/Summer ’18 show.
