Following the release of Nicki Minaj’s raunchy, fun tune “Yasss Bish” featuring Soulja Boy “Pills n Potions” is a must need serious, r&b, heartbreak ballad. Similar to Nicki’s soft rap ballad “Freedom” from her last album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded- The Re-up, “Pills N Potions” is a familar tale about how friends and colleges change along your way to success. According to Nicki, the single is based on a “true story” and is her “heart and soul.”

Produced by Dr. Luke, “Pills n Potions” is the first official single from Nicki’s new project The Pink Print. In the song, Queens favorite female rappers begins the track with the catchy chorus “Pills n potions, we’re overdosing, I’m angry, but I still love you….Pills n potions, we’re overdosing, can’t stand it, but I still love you.” Even though the lyrics are ambiguous, fans want to know what or who the song is about. We at MEFeater believe the song is what all Nicki Minaj songs are about “hating ass bitches.” In this case, it’s a special because whoever this song is based on, they were once close to the Rap Queen. However, this situation isn’t new to Nicki, her long-term hair stylist is suing her for 30 million dollars, so we know Nicki knows a few things about back stabbing.

One thing is for certain the female rapper definitely wants her fans to buy this song. Nicki recently took the song off sound cloud, so we can buy it and SHE TRIED it .
