A&E Network is preparing to premiere a new documentary on the late and great rapper, Notorious B.I.G. on September 4, titled Biggie: The Life of the Notorious B.I.G. The documentary is set to feature rap icons Nas and of course, Jay-Z.
In the trailer for the documentary, the fellow New York rappers are seen reciting lyrics to some of Biggie’s songs.
According to Rolling Stone, A&E is also working on a six-part limited series Who Killed Tupac?, which focuses on the investigation surrounding Tupac Shakur’s 1996 murder. As part of the network’s biography series, documentaries on the lives of Kanye West, 2Pac, Grandmaster Flash and Chance The Rapper are also in the near future.
