Moonlight star Mahershala Ali has stolen our hearts and it is no secret.

Not only did he just win his first Oscar for Best Actor in a Supporting role. He is the first Muslim to do so. Ali converted back in 1999 when introduced to Islam by his wife Amatus Sami-Karim.

The two recently became new parents to their first born child daughter Bari Najma Ali.

His performances in movies, television roles and outspoken personality on society issues gives us the reason to call him our #MCM.
