In Drake’s new interview with DJ Semtex he explains his feud with Meek Mill, his thoughts on Views , OVO Sound Radio, and more.

The Feud

Although, the feud between Drake and Meek Mill has cooled off. Drake says he does not ever see them being friends. He explains that “I don’t have respect for him [Meek Mill]” as the reason they could not be friends. He also expresses his resent for Meek Mill’s accusation that Drake doesn’t write his own songs. Drake regards himself as, “… one of the best writers. Period.” 

Views

Drake boast that even if most won’t admit it he thinks that Views had an evident effect on music, and is an important part of culture. He also talked about how he wanted the whole album to have a “melodic” sound rather than rap, but because he knows his fan base he kept the rap central songs on the track list.

OVO Sound Radio

What started as a blog where Drake and his entourage could share their thoughts and music has quickly become a “hub” for all in the field. Now He is starting up OVO Sound Radio which is a platform for established and up and coming artist  alike.
