On March 11th, Chance The Rapper will receive the iHeart Radio Innovator Award. The iHeart Radio Music Awards is well-known for honoring artists and pushing them forth through their platform. This year, the award show will hosted by DJ Khaled.
The award that Chance will be receiving consists of a groundbreaking innovator. He is nonetheless an innovator who frequently uses his platform. Many people agree that he is very much qualified for the award because of his outstanding ability to empathize and sympathize. These are just small factors.
He is also well known for the records he’s broken. Chance has remained an independent artist throughout his journey. Due to this fact, most of his projects were completely free. Yet he still manages to donate back to his community time and time again. Not just donating his money, but his time. As if in rotation to help them become innovator’s as well.
