It’s here! XXL’s 2014 Freshmen Class “The Dirty Dozen” – featuring Chance The Rapper, Rich Homie Quan, Isaiah Rashad, TY DOLLA $IGN, Lil Durk, Kevin Gates, Troy Ave, Vic Mensa, Lil Bibby, Jon Connor, Jarren Benton, and of course R&B Artist August Alsina. This is XXL’s 7th annual yearly process of choosing young artists on the rise that has been voted by the people’s choice. Each artist have shown some type of build up within the industry, whether it’s through a fanbase, mixtape, or a hit song. These artists have accomplished something bigger than receiving a grammy. They have achieved recognition through the hearts of their supporters and voters from their voices. Judging by the other selected artists from previous released Freshmen Classes such as artist Kendrick Lamar, Wiz Kahlifa and Macklamore, MEFeater has no doubt in these artist whatsoever! THEY ARE “THE DIRTY DOZEN”
